The Atonement

Christ's death on the cross atoned for man's sin. All people everywhere can have forgiveness and be justified through Jesus Christ vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice for sin. Jesus precious blood was the propitiation or satisfaction to satisfy a Holy God's penalty for sin and through this atonement man can have peace with God being reconciled to Him through Christ. We reject the limited atonement of Christ idea where only a select few will be atoned for, rather Christ's atonement is for all who will receive His payment by grace through faith. (Luke 23 :26-48, Romans 5:1-11)
